Overlooking Victoria Harbour in Wan Chai, this convention center, whose architecture evokes a bird in flight, hosts thousands of events every year, from international trade fairs to art exhibitions. This emblematic venue also made history in 1997, as it was here that the ceremony for Hong Kong's handover to China took place between Chris Patten, the last British Governor, and Tung Chee-Hwa, Hong Kong's first Chief Executive.
