Housed in the University of Hong Kong, this museum exhibits Chinese antiques and works of art and the largest collection in the world of bronzes dating from the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). Objects were discovered from the time of the combatants of the Combatants (475-221 BC) and the Tang dynasty (618-907) and Qing (1644-1911). The university, founded in 1911, absorbed the faculty of medicine in which Sun Yat-sen was graduated, the founder and president of the first Republic of China.
