DR SUN YAT-SEN MUSEUM
Superb building housing an exhibition retracing the history of Dr. Sun, founder of the Republic of China in 1911
The Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum, located in the magnificent Kom Tong Hall in Mid-Levels, is an architectural treasure trove, as impressive on the outside as it is on the inside. Completely renovated between late 2024 and early 2025, this historic 1914 building has retained its charm while modernizing its exhibition spaces. The museum traces the life of the famous revolutionary Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Father of modern China, and Hong Kong's role in his activities. To better understand this historic period, guided tours in English are offered every Sunday at 3pm.
