After working in the kitchens of the Hong Kong Hyatt, Afonso returned to Macao to cook as his grandmother did. The decor of its Portuguese restaurant is modest and warm, and the regulars often stay well beyond the closing time with a bottle of wine and cheese. Here you can enjoy specialities such as cod, beef stew, chicken curry, grilled pork or grilled sardines. The cheeses come from small Portuguese villages and the wines are really not expensive, just like the rest. Booking recommended.
