Albergue 1601 is our favorite in the historic center! Nestled in a historic building, this restaurant exudes an authentic atmosphere, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. As you enter the charming courtyard, you're greeted by two magnificent century-old trees, imported from China and Japan. The restaurant's decor is instantly reminiscent of Portugal, as is the wine list and dishes such as cod acras and seafood rice. Service is particularly attentive. A well-hidden address that comes highly recommended!
