As one of Macau's finest restaurants, A Lorcha is always busy. It makes a good stopover after a visit to the A-Ma temple and the Maritime Museum. The restaurant, adorned with white plastered walls contrasting with a dark wooden counter, successfully recreates a Mediterranean atmosphere. Cod salad with paprika vinaigrette, pork shank, shellfish and chicken dishes are all served generously. The African chicken is excellent, as are desserts such as serradura (Portuguese cream).
