FERNANDO
On the beach of Hác Sá, this is one of the institutions of Macao. It comes with family or friends for lunch under the fans in the large room, on tables covered with tile tablecloths. You can choose between the unforgettable garlic gambas (camarao fried com alhio), the delicious sardines (sardhinas assado na brassa), or grilled chicken (galhina assada na brassa). Fernando is a perfectionist: It imports its olive oil and its coffee from Portugal, grows its tomatoes and small vegetables in its garden and makes its own bread. Wine, as the rest, is at a very reasonable price and comes from Portugal. The restaurant does not take reservations, but you can take your patience in the bar in the garden and enjoy a glass of sangria accompanied by sheep's cheese.
