Aranjuez in San José, with simple and cosy rooms, all different from each other and harmoniously arranged

Five houses built in the 1930s have been arranged together to offer cozy rooms. Well located, between Barrio Escalante and Barrio Amón, about 15 minutes walk from the Plaza de la Cultura. For breakfast, a green garden welcomes you to taste delicious home-made pastries! By far the best establishment in its category. This hotel has a strong policy of environmental preservation: solar panels for water and electricity, own compost and recycling system.

We stayed here the night we arrived in San Jose and the night before we left. The rooms are comfortable, unique in character, and quiet at night. The garden areas add a special ambiance and the breakfast was delicious! We also ate in the restaurant 11-47 that is adjacent to the hotel and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. What we are really so grateful for however was the caring service we received from the staff for an issue with our rental car that was quite stressful and complicated. They were lifesavers and helped us diligently along the way to resolve the situation in a timely manner. Thank you so much Hotel Aranjuez! We are eternally grateful.

L’hôtel nous a été recommandé par un organisme de voyage.
Les chambres sont extrêmement mal insonorisées. La chambre 4 donne sur l’accueil nous entendons donc tous les bruits des clients.
L’électricité n’est pas aux normes, impossible d’appuyer sur l’interrupteur sans recevoir un coup de jus.
Et la douche n’en parlons pas…. Pas d’eau chaude, pas de pression.
Le petit déjeuner est en revanche atypique et local ce qui remonte un peu la note.
Le prix est abordable mais ne justifie pas tous ces problèmes.

Eine Urwaldlodge, wie man sie sich vorstellt. Mitten im Dschungel, trotzdem mit viel Komfort, nettem Personal und leckerem Essen. Wir waren zum Vögel beobachten und fotografieren dort und sind jeden Tag rüber zur Lagarto-Lodge wo man ausgezeichnet an den Futterstellen kleinere Vögel und ein paar Meter entfernt Königsgeier fotografieren kann
