MUSEO DE ARTE COSTARRICENSE
Museum that presents a collection of paintings and sculptures of Costa Rican artists from the eighteenth to the twentieth century in San Jose
A museum that is worth the trip from downtown San José. In the terminal of the old airport, it presents since 1978 a collection of paintings and sculptures of Costa Rican artists from the 18th to the 20th century. Don't miss in the Salón Dorado the stucco fresco on 4 walls of the history of Costa Rica, made by the Frenchman Louis Féron Parizot. As you leave, you will see on the left a gold necklace on which you will recognize the details of the fresco. A work of goldsmith.
