MORAZAN PARK
Park that has retained its original appearance with its gardens and benches of one piece, and hosts a sculpture, Alas Mexico.
It is named after Francisco Morazán, a Honduran supporter of Central American unity in the mid-19th century. At its center is a gazebo called the Temple of Music, which is said to have incredible acoustics. Since the summer of 2018, the park has also been home to a stunning sculpture, Alas Mexico, forged by Mexican artist Jorge Marín. These two large bronze wings also have their replicas in the cities of Tel Aviv, Cairo, Berlin and Nagoya. The park is an almost obligatory stop on the way to Amón and Otoya.
