A comfortable lodge offering beautiful cabins perched at a height of nearly 20 m, with good value for money

A place not to be missed even if it is difficult to spot coming from Guápiles! Some Dutch people have built a lodge there with all the comforts and impeccably maintained. Beautiful huts are perched at nearly 20 meters high and allow you to see some 300 species of birds. In the evening, a unique dinner menu is offered with meat or vegetarian. Good value for money. Hiking in the park and swimming in the waterfall are possible. The proximity to the Braulio Carillo National Park, Tortuguero, and the Pacuare River make this a good base.

Authentische Gastfreundschaft und ein echtes Airbnb mit Naturerlebnis - we recommend this place in Costa Rica! Lisa und Adam aus Kanada sind das Herzstück dieses Anwesens. Mit den Füßen im Rio, den Blick in den Dschungel gerichtet, sind das Naturerlebnis und die persönlichen Gespräche mit den Gastgebern ein außergewöhnliches und bleibendes Erlebnis. Das Essen von Lisa ist köstlich, Adam zeigte uns Badestellen, Wasserfall, Tiere und beide berichteten über ihre Erlebnisse. Wir wünschen der Familie von Herzen das Beste auf ihrem weiteren Weg und kommen wieder.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte dort. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Zimmer hat alles was man braucht. Man schläft mitten im Wald.
Herbie ist ein sehr freundlicher, entspannter Gastgeber. Das hausgemachte Abendessen war lecker und ausreichend. Frühstück war auch ok.
Die Tiere und Vögel direkt vor der Tür.

Wow, was für eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Mitten im Regenwald. Man hört das Wasser rauschen, Vögel zwitschern, Affen brüllen. Man schläft im Prinzip mitten in der Natur. Herbert ist ein wunderbarer Gastgeber und bereitet ein perfektes Frühstück. Hierhin kommt man immer wieder gern…..

Wunderschöner Ort mitten in der Natur oberhalb eines kühlenden Flusses, dem Rio Blanco, gelegen. Vier urige Holzhäuschen, mit gutem Bett ausgestattet, Bad mit warmen Wasser und einer Veranda mit herrlichem Ausblick. Für Naturliebhaber!

Our group of 8 recently spent 4 days here. We really liked the open screening in the cabins and the sound of the river at night. The cabins are very rustic but comfortable and spacious. Very friendly owner (and dog & cat !)
