Excellent value for the price! Wonderful owners on site. Terrific free breakfast that’s perfectly prepared and incredibly delicious! Beautiful patio and dining areas; with a nice clean pool, along with gardens and flowers. Wifi/internet was strong and fast throughout. A jewel for those seeking a quiet, safe, friendly place to rest when heading to or from SJO airport not wishing to break the bank. The rooms are furnishings are modest, but quite comfortable. The Location is excellent— in central Alajuela, close to several shopping plazas: Tropicana Plaza, Plaza Real, Parque Central; also near Restaurant Row, and many other restaurants all around; close to The Cathedral, Agonia Church, Alajuela Mercado, and Tuasa Bus lines (as well as many others). There is a nice Supermarket about 2 blocks away. This friendly spot is Highly recommended for those seeking varied levels of accommodations, from simple beds with shared baths, to single rooms with larger beds, better furnishings and private baths that may include a TV and air conditioning. Use of a community refrigerator in the patio/dining area, and can use the full kitchen whenever needed. Secure and safe.

Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We opted for the double room with a private restroom and it was perfect for our two night stay before we head back home. The free breakfast is delicious! They have a beautiful pool but we didn’t have a chance to use it. There are 2 gates to get in so I felt safe while here. Overall a lovely stay.

Relaxing small hotel with a nice swimming pool. Rooms are basic but clean. Breakfast with the classic gallo pinto. Staff is excellent.
