Mathieu and Nidia, a friendly French-Costa Rican couple, offer travelers 5 spacious rooms (40 m²), with modern wooden architecture on stilts and individual terraces overlooking the rainforest. Continental breakfast is served right outside the door, at the time of your choosing. Pibi Boreal is ideal for a first night in Costa Rica, and an excellent introduction for those who appreciate nature.

Clean, spacious rooms with lovely balcony and views. A great start to a Costa Rica trip or the end of it. Hospitable households. Picked us up from the airport and arranged a transfer the next morning to Poas volcano with a final stop at La Fortuna. We booked one more night at this hotel before flying home. Thank you for everything!

This place is a hidden gem! Mathew has gone above and beyond taking care of us. From the well appointed rooms, beautiful views, breakfast delivery to our door ….This place has it all. Highly recommend.
