HACIENDA LOS TRAPICHES
An artisanal stage less known than Sarhi, with the manufacturers of tapa de dulce, the brown sugar of Central America.
A less well-known artisanal stage than Sarchí, where the tapa de dulce, the brown sugar of Central America (trapiche means "mill", named after the oxen that drove the wheel) is made. You will be able to learn everything about sugar making from sugar cane during occasional demonstrations. Today, it is mainly a restaurant surrounded by several swimming pools. We come here as a family to enjoy the gardens and facilities. Relaxation guaranteed! A place mainly frequented by Ticos, on weekends.
