HELVETICO SWISS CHALETS & RESERVE
Note the puns in the names of HelveTico and the restaurant Mae Culpa! Their authors, Mark the Swiss, and Jesus the Tico, both of them very kind and hospitable. HelveTico, is a bed & breakfast, composed of two wooden chalets overlooking a 37 ha nature reserve, with trails where you can sometimes encounter toucans, monkeys, lazy people or coyotes. The architecture and comfort of the chalets are worthy of those found in the Swiss mountains, with ultra-comfortable facilities and tasteful decoration. There's even a fireplace with wood for cool evenings! One of the great assets of the site is its spectacular view of the Gulf of Nicoya. A panorama that you can't get tired of from your balcony, or from the outdoor jacuzzi (common to both cottages), especially at sunset! We are in Llano Brenes, near San Ramón, accessible in 45 minutes from the international airport, and not far from La Fortuna, Manuel Antonio, or the Poas volcano... Breakfast is brought at the desired time directly to the chalet. The restaurant Mae Culpa is just next door, nice in the evening for a good pizza over a wood fire, or a perfectly prepared octopus dish. An address to take into account, for a stopover on a long journey, or for your first or last night in Costa Rica.
