A beautiful mountain hotel, at the foot of the Turrialba volcano and close to the pre-Columbian site of Guayabo. We are here half an hour from Turrialba, on the heights. At an altitude of 1,500 m, it is cool and you live in peace and quiet. The view over the large flowered garden and the green valley is splendid. In the rooms and suites, the decoration inspired by nature dominates. Some have a balcony overlooking the valley. The large room where the restaurant is located can be noisy when groups are present, but the two fireplaces and the bar make for a very warm atmosphere. This family lodge has established rules of good social and environmental conduct, which have earned it the recognition of the ICT (CST level 4). A good address, suitable for groups and individual travellers.

Les chambres sont spacieuses,certaines avec terrasse et cuisine.
Le petit-déjeuner est en buffet avec du choix.
Les autres repas sont corrects mais ne pas vous attendre à de la grande cuisine!

Das Frühstück war gut. Das Abendessen muss man vorher anmelden, um das Verschwenden von Nahrungsmitteln zu vermeiden. Die Qualität des Abendessen ist ebenfalls gut.
Ein Traum ist die weitläufige Gartenanlage mit wunderschönen Blumen und unzähligen Vögeln und Schmetterlingen. Über den River Trail des Hotels gelangt man zum nahegelegenen Fluss, über schmale Wege mit üppiger Vegetation, ein kleines Abenteuer =).
Vorsicht bei der Anfahrt zur Lodge, ohne Allrad bei schlechtem Wetter kaum möglich.
