This restaurant was the first to open in Tortuguero. You just have to look at all the black and white photos hanging on the walls to realize the history of the place. You can chat with the owner, Miss Junie (who owns the hotel of the same name), whose mother, Miss Sibella Martinez, was one of the first Caribbean inhabitants of Tortuguero; she personally knew Archie Carr (famous American scientist)! The food is delicious even if we sometimes regret the small size of the portions.

Le restaurant le plus connu de Tortuguero. On y mange très bien et les serveurs sont très aimables.

mi avril cela sentait vraiment la fin de saison...beaucoup de plats manquants, mais nous avons mangé du bon poisson et l'accueil était sympa
