Hotel very well located with a nice balcony, offering simple wooded rooms with flower beds and bathroom.
Clearly above the hotels of its category, it is very well located in the village but away from the noise. If possible, ask to be on the first floor: as the tongue of land narrows at this point, you can see both the canals and the raging Pacific! The rooms are wooded, simple but clean. Cloied Taylor, one of the sons, is an excellent guide whose services we tested. And when you know that Miss Junie's grandfather founded the community of Tortuguero, you can only see good reasons to stay there for a day or two.

Die Unterkunft liegt ruhig, am Ende der Hauptstraße an einem ruhigen Punkt zwischen dem Meer und des Flusses. Vom Zimmer aus hört man die Wellen rauschen.
Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und dunkel, aber sehr sauber.
Die Betreiber-Familie ist sehr freundlich.
Man gab uns gute Tipps für die Umgebung und restliche Karibik.
Frühstück gibt es bis 9 Uhr. nach einem Ausflug in der Früh kehrten wir erst um 09:30 Uhr ins Hotel zurück, bekamen dennoch frisches Frühstück. Das Frühstück wird von der Eigentümerin nach Bedarf frisch gemacht. Es gab kein Buffet.
Die Anlage verfügt über einen schönen, großen Pool. Wir hatten das Glück, dass wir den Pool für uns nutzen konnten.
Im Garten kann man verschiedene Tiere beobachten.
Ich kann die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

The rooms have new air conditioners, which is really nice at night. Otherwise our downstairs rooms were about what you would expect at this price. We were annoyed that we didn't get the nicer upstairs rooms that we had reserved online. But in the end this place won us over.
We enjoyed the turtle tour with Miss Noli (spelling). It was interesting to hear about her many years of experience protecting the turtles.
