Isolated and bucolic cabins, the logical continuation of the farmhouse built in 1957 by Don Efraim Chacon in San Gerardo de Dota.

These highly recommendable, secluded and bucolic cabinas are the logical continuation of the farm built in 1957 by don Efraím Chacón, a national figure who adapted the cultivation of apple trees and other fruit trees that Costa Rica lacked. Trails are regularly maintained in the adjoining forest, and for the best chance of finally spotting a quetzal, don't hesitate to ask one of the Chacóns for advice. They usually know everything there is to know about "their" birds. On foot or horseback.

Un lugar espectacular, rodeado de montaña, clima frío, cerca del río que hace una estancia acogedora. La cabaña muy limpia y en excelentes condiciones. Muy agradable la atención por parte de las personas encargadas. El desayuno típico delicioso! Totalmente lo recomiendo.

Un negocio familiar encantador. Nos hospedamos en una de las cabinas nuevas y estan hermosas, un buen baño (amplio, bonito), cama matrimonial, balcón que da al río, se escucha el arrullo del agua durante el día, buenas cobijas. La comida deliciosa y una buena porción.
