VULCANIA

For over 20 years, Vulcania has been a unique tourist site in Europe, entirely dedicated to volcanoes and planet Earth. Located in the heart of the volcanoes of Auvergne, the park offers an immersive experience combining emotions and discoveries thanks to animations, visits and shows. The park is organized around three main themes: volcanoes, natural phenomena and the Earth in space.

Every year, Vulcania innovates with new attractions. In 2025, two new attractions will be added to the park, alongside flagship attractions such as Le Réveil des Géants d'Auvergne, Abyss Explorer and Dragon Ride. One of them will focus on extreme natural phenomena: thrills guaranteed! The Namazu attraction was awarded the prize for best European attraction in 2021. This roller coaster invites visitors to discover a scientific base located on a fault with unstable seismic activity. Beware, it's a shaker! Since 2023, Vulcania has also been home to France's largest planetarium. Featuring a 22-metre immersive dome, it offers exceptional projection quality. With the planetarium, exploration is enriched by six family activities, some of which are accompanied by one of the park's scientific animators.

The park is also designed for the very young, from the age of 3. Areas such as the Pitoufeu House and Gallery and, of course, the Cité des Enfants, a real place of experimentation for little scientists, allow them to have fun while learning. For children, the outdoor play areas are also ideal for having fun. For families, the Experience Corner offers fun, interactive workshops to discover volcanism and natural phenomena. At Vulcania, learning becomes a fun adventure!
Alone, with friends or with the whole family, visitors can stroll through the Forest of Dragons, populated by fantastic creatures from legends around the world, all different from one another, to surprise and amaze young and old alike.

In summer, the park is set ablaze at night during exceptional evenings, culminating in a magnificent fireworks display.

To extend the adventure, Vulcania offers all-inclusive packages on its website, including park admission, accommodation and activities such as the Panoramique des Dômes or the Michelin Adventure. Special offers, such as a second night at half price or a third night free, enable families to enjoy this unique site to the full, while keeping their budgets under control.
