PUYS OF JUMES AND SHELLS
The two inseparable peaks rise to 1,161 m and 1,152 m.
Not far from the hamlet of Beauregard, start from the parking lot along the D576. Follow the yellow markings and join the GR441. Then follow a steep ascent through a beech forest on the northern flank of the puy de Jumes, before reaching the puy de la Coquille. These two inseparable peaks rise to 1,161 m and 1,152 m. Their shallow but well-marked craters are covered with hazelnut and Scots pine. They offer panoramic views of the Chaîne des Puys as far as the Sancy.
