The Fiesta de los Diablitos is a celebration of the Boruca community. It celebrates the struggle of the ancestors against the conquistadors.
At dusk, the Boruca indigenous communities, dressed as diablitos or "little devils", re-enact the battle that opposed them with the Spanish conquistadors (represented as bulls). The participants wear colorful masks carved and painted by hand on wood. Dressed in traditional costumes, they retrace the struggle of their ancestors. This colorful festival lasts three days. For the occasion, the communities organize folkloric dances, fireworks and sales of indigenous products
