PLAYA NICUESA RAINFOREST LODGE ^{* * *}

Located on the coast of Golfo Dulce, Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge is an ecolodge accessible only by boat. Nestled in the heart of a 165-hectare nature reserve, it offers panoramic views of the ocean and mountains. Colonial-inspired rooms and chalets are built from recycled materials and feature parquet flooring, mosquito netting and ceiling fans. Air conditioning is not available. The chalets also include an open-air bathroom. The lodge offers an open-air bar-restaurant, as well as free activities such as guided hikes, yoga classes, massages, kayaks, fishing and snorkeling equipment. Children aged 6 and over are welcome. To get here, we recommend flying to Golfito or Puerto Jimenez, then taking a boat to the lodge. Private plane transfers are also available.
