Marina Pez Vela, a "Western-style" leisure complex with restaurants next to the seaside, was inaugurated in 2010 but seems, in some places, still under construction. This vast real estate project is not well received by the population; it must be said that the contrast is striking between the atmosphere of the market and the luxury of Pez Vela. For dinner in Quepos-ville, it is (unfortunately) the only really classy place, by the sea, in restaurants of impeccable whiteness, but it is obviously not very authentic...
