Hostel that presents itself as a star hostel, offering a large design pool and impeccable rooms.
The real 5-star hostel! Many times copied (we don't count any more hostels with a similar name in the city) but never equalled, it offers a big design swimming pool, rooms with an impeccable cleanliness, camping tents with all comfort (with bed, lamps, mosquito net, etc.), dormitories with recent bedding, a bar and restaurant service open all day long... In short, we found no fault with this establishment!

Nothing but a great experience all around. Take advantage of good breakfast by Alberto on site. Bathrooms and showers are excellent. Cylinder were really fun and very private. Will come again.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix pour cette auberge de jeunesse avec bar/restaurant et piscine. Services et excursions dans la région du volcan Arenal.

I really enjoyed my stay at Arenal Backpackers Resort. The cylinders are a unique place to sleep. Bathrooms, sheets and towels are clean. The garden is very beautiful. In October the place was very quiet, which I liked a lot. Would come back!

Fair experience. The tents are a bit moldy and there’s a lot of noise from the street, but the pool and showers are really nice. They will try to get you to wear a wristband at all times, which is a little annoying and there’s no communal kitchen. The staff is nice though. :-)
