A popular attraction for travelers, pretty and more refreshing than the volcano at La Fortuna

This waterfall is a popular attraction with travelers, and while it's pretty, there's nothing extraordinary about it. The price doesn't justify it, even if the stairs leading down to the bottom are brand new and spotless. You'll probably be told that they were built for Kim Kardashian's visit to La Fortuna. You can swim in the turquoise water among dozens of other tourists. Keep an eye on your belongings when you're in the water. There's also El Jardín de orquídeas, a beautiful collection of over 200 species of endemic flowers.

Baignade raffraichissante
Le site n'est pas très original, mais sa facilité d'accès en fait un incontournable de la Fortuna. Comptez 10 minutes de marche pour arriver au pied de la chute. Laissez-vous tenter par une petite baignade, attention l'eau est très fraiche.

Visite qui vaut le détour. Attention accès par des escaliers assez abrupt à flan de montagne (fait avec un enfant de 4 ans sur les épaules). Possibilité de se baigner sous les chutes mais pas vraiment de grande plage de galet pour se poser. Petite boutique et petite restauration à l'entrée. Correct.

Très belles chutes d'eau.
En décembre, seul le chemin par les escaliers était accessible. Une bonne condition physique est nécessaire pour les remonter!
Heureusement on peut boire ou manger sur place.
La durée de la visite dure entre 1 ou 2h, le temps de faire quelques photos ou de se baigner.
