FARALLÓN PETROGLYPHS
Observation of the petroglyphs of the Amerindian culture of Corobicies, recently classified as National Heritage in Canas
A sign indicates a site where petroglyphs from the Corobicíes Amerindian culture can be seen, recently declared a National Heritage Site. When the López Monge family bought this property nearly 40 years ago, they never imagined that they would become the guardians of this historical heritage: a rock about 20 meters long and 7 meters high on which there are different figures, human, animal or abstract, which date back to the first century A.D.! The family organizes tours and offers sleeping cabins in their farm.
