Tempisque Ecotours is a specialized tour operator based in Nicoya. They offer a variety of activities focused on the region's nature and culture. Visitors can enjoy delicious typical Guanacaste lunches, prepared with 100% natural ingredients. They can also take part in birdwatching and discover different species such as herons, ibises, parrots, storks, among others. Tempisque Ecotours is 100% committed to sustainability and is in the process of obtaining CST (Certificado de Sostenibilidad Turística) certification from the Instituto Costarricense de Turismo. Regular tours take place at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and last around 2 hours. Departure and arrival points are the Friendship Bridge, Puerto Humo and the Bird Island and Puerto Chamorro areas. Tours include a boat trip and a meal. Payments can be made in cash, by bank transfer or by credit or debit card. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing, sun cream, sunglasses, binoculars, mosquito repellent and don't forget your camera. Tempisque Ecotours also offers private tours for groups.
