The collection was assembled by Archbishop János Simor from the treasures of his diocese. A remarkable collection of the Christian Museum in the Primate's Palace which gives an insight into Italian and Hungarian painting in the Middle Ages. The Easter Sepulchre is a Hungarian masterpiece of woodcarving.
