In the former castle of the Árpád, the permanent exhibition displays a collection of objects related to Magyar history. Among them are works by stonemasons, fresco fragments, ceramics, glazed ceramic statuettes. The royal chapel was refurbished in 2014; the highlight of the visit was the studio with the famous frescoes of the Virtues, which would be the presumed work of a young Botticelli.
