In the main square, in Park Oulu, the Evangelical Church was built with financial Assistance from the Finnish city of Oulu, together with Siófok. Its astonishing architecture, all of wood, with bird wings that deploy above the entrance, is the work of the famous Hungarian contemporary architect Imre Makovecz, who performed the Hungarian pavilion of the World exposition in Seville in 1992.
