BACCHUS HÔTEL
A very central hotel (renovated in 2013) where wellness does not pass through the thermal waters but by wine. The owners of the establishment are wine-growers (they still produce their own wine) and feel: they built their hotels on a former cooperative cellar and built a small Weinmuseum. The most amazing thing is that these parts of the ceramic walls that you will visit were themselves the barrels in which the wine rested. The largest of the three could contain 65 000 litres… Today, there are 250 varieties of wines in bottle, including a Pétrus 1967, and objects related to the work of the vine. You can enjoy a drink or eat in the cellar or on the terrace, between two groups of tourists preferably, from the inn dishes to the basic products of very good quality and which is well prepared, such as the excellent dish of fogas (pronounce [fogache]), the affectionately of Lake Balaton.
