It is one of Hungary's most important religious buildings; That's where all the queens from Hungary came from Gizella in the th century. The original building, unfortunately, remains only the beautiful Gothic crypt, the rest of the cathedral having been destroyed half a dozen times since the th century. The current cathedral, néoroman style, dates back to 1907-1910.
