BAINS THERMAUX (GYÓGYFÜRDŐ)
The small spa in Balf was already known in Roman times. The source was discovered in 180, and the Romans came here seeking healing by healing water rich in sulphate. Today, new spa buildings and ancient Baroque buildings are open to everyone. There are baths and a swimming pool, open later than the baths.
To be effective, a medicinal cure usually requires three weeks, at least 10 days. However, the thermal baths are open to visitors. The healing buildings themselves, in the socialist style, are not particularly beautiful with all their assistive devices, rather resembling torture machines, their individual bathtubs with multiple valves and their nurses in white jacket and the effective grip… The beautiful promenade of more than century trees that leads to the thermal baths and the park lends itself to the beautiful walks.
