The porch of the entrance of this Romanesque abbey is richly decorated, surmounted by impressive statuary. The statue of Christ on his throne, with his apostles, five on each side, is one of the most significant works in Hungary. The richness of the facade rivals the part east of the sanctuary, also decorated with sculptures, the most remarkable of which is a young man, with noble eyes, seated on a throne surrounded by lions, a @ scepter by hand.

To see. An elegant mix between romanesque and Gothic. The sanctuary, built between 1214 and 1256 is a little austere refurbished interior, despite some beautiful traces of fresco and stunning medieval altarpiece painted wood, but the large external statuary and well-preserved, deserves attention.
