GÁZI KÁSZIM PASA DZSÁMIJA (GÁZI KÁSZIM PASA DZSÁMIJA)
This curious building oriented towards Mecca is the dzsami (mosque) of Gházi Kásim Pasha, built with the stones of a medieval church dating back to the invasion of the Turks. After a few menus, the mosque was converted into a Christian church, and the growing green dome was surmounted by a cross. Below, on the same square, lies the Trinity column, a flamboyant baroque, and the equestrian statue of János Hunyadi, Hungarian army leader, great pourfendeur of Turks and one of the finest strategists in the th century Europe.
