The Renaissance palace, whose ruins we see here, belonged to Szathmáry György, former bishop of Pécs. At the time of Turkish occupation, the palace was transformed into prayer for Muslim dervishes.
Not far away, Tettye utca 14, we see the church of All-les-Saints, and its green bulb standing in the heights of the city. It is the only Christian place of worship in the city that the Ottomans did not transform into mosques and Catholic offices and reformed went there in a row.
