ABALIGET CAVES (ABALIGETI-BARLANG)

On the walls of the main cave (500 m in length), successive layers of limestone were deposited by the ancient Mer Sea. These limestone caves are the main interest of the Agglomération agglomeration. The air inside caves with the reputation of having curative virtues for respiratory diseases, Abaliget also serves health care. A sanatorium for diseases related to asthma and silicosis operates in the wings not open to visit.
