KALOCSA CATHEDRAL (FŐSZÉKESEGYHÁZ)

The archdiocese of Kalocsa was with that of Esztergom, created by the king and saint, Etienne, in the th century. The beautiful cathedral of Kalocsa, in Baroque style, was built in the late th century, following the looting of the city by the Turks. The interior decoration is reminiscent of the famous Broderies embroidery. You can visit the treasure, a few meters further.
