Everything you always wanted to know about red gold! The museum presents the story of the spice from the moment it crossed the Ocean. This spice is not only highly appreciated in the kitchen, especially Hungarian cuisine, but it is also a good remedy for various diseases (for example to prevent scurvy or strengthen the immune system). Kalocsa and the surrounding area are the most famous producers thanks to a large number of hours of sunshine (more than 2 000 hours per year).
