SAINTE-MADELEINE CHAPEL
Romanesque chapel founded in the century, overlooking the River Monne, Saint-Saturnin's oldest monument, hosting exhibitions.
At the chevet of the large Romanesque church, this small chapel, also in Romanesque style, is believed to have been built in the 11th century. It is the oldest monument in the commune. Protected as a Monument Historique, it is said to have served as a baptistery. After restoration, it is now used as an exhibition space for photos, paintings and other works of art. The pretty little public garden next to it, overlooking the Monne gorges, was once a cemetery.
