It is on the remains of what was the second largest synagogue in the country (after that of Dohany Street in Budapest) that was established this modest prayer hall. Here was the meeting of the Jewish community of the city massively deported during the Shoah (136 survivors). A handful of active members are active, photos and ritual objects in support, memory.
