CHURCH OF THE FRIARS MINOR (MINORITA TEMPLOM)
The church of the minor brothers, of 1773, with its two baroque high-bulbs with bulbs and its columns in red marble with golden capitals, dominates the central square Dobó tér. It was called the most beautiful baroque building in the country. Its altar is framed by two Greek statues, very classical, but with a small putto (angelot) of a dodu of the most baroque sitting at their feet… Its ceilings are decorated with beautiful frescoes, with paintings of apses being almost as beautiful as those behind the master altar. All the interior abounds with columns of marble, gilt and putti. Wooden stalls are beautifully carved.
