Set in the buildings of an ancient farmhouse, a rich collection of folk art (whose date dates a little). Sculptures on wood, horn or bones: Nearly 200 different objects show the evolution of techniques and styles. Pottery comes from Mezőtúr (an important pottery centre since the th century, in the Grande Plaine), Nádudvar (famous for its black pottery), Hódmezövásárhely, Palkovicovo (other black pottery style), and also former pottery centers such as Mezőcsát, Debrecen and Gyöngyöspástó. Fur and Leather: The fur worked from Mezőkövesd, from the paysans of the peasants to the reasons applied. In the past, the leather gourdes were made by selliers (also creators of beautiful braided harnesses). Lace: from Kiskunhalas, the country of lace. The matyó embroidery is probably the most sumptuous with those of Kalocsa, to the east of the Danube. The museum also makes a small room for dyeing in blue, a craft that has its traditions in Tápé, on the Tisza River, and in Börsákány, on Petite Plaine, in northwestern Hungary. Weaving is also a ancient craft, with the most decorative styles appearing in the early th century. This art - weaving wool, flax, cotton, hemp - applies to regional costumes and interior decoration.

In the south of Pécs, in the Baranya region, the weaving is marked by the influence of the Southern Slavs, by Croats and Sokác.
