TANYACSÁRDA
The owner of Tanya-Csárda, Ferenc Gömöri, who was rewarded with the Pro-Turismo Prize, prepares here a Hungarian cuisine based on peasant recipes from the Great Plain. His gulyás party is a whole program: goulasch is prepared in a cauldron on a wooden fire in the open and accompanied by Hungarian wine drawn directly from the drum. All with gypsy music. The old and new Tanyacsárda can accommodate up to 550 people. A equestrian show takes place daily from 12 pm. The party grill, outside, is made around a whole beef-roasted whole beef, with folk shows restorative peasant or gypsy marriages. The time of the evening is a high equestrian aerobatic (the puszta five in English) or training (koch in German), i. e. five horses launched on the gallop, a rider standing on the bow of the last two guiding the three in front. La employs nearly 300 riders from the Puszta. These horse csikós welcome guests, arriving by whole buses in Budapest, with water-of-life and pogácsa, before inviting them to sit in the seats covered to attend equestrian demonstrations. Next, spectators are free to take a walk in a horse-carriage or visit the stables.
