On the square Klauzál emerges a somewhat Mediterranean atmosphere with the new house Zsóter and the fountain of Kings, works by Klára Tóbiás. Among the many statues, one distinguishes that of Lajos Kossuth, one of the first in Hungary to represent the whole man. It is from the balcony of Kárász, on this square, that Lajos Kossuth delivered his last speech to call for war in 1849.
