The Maison de la literature de Debrecen is an appendix to the Déri Museum, which is set up with its literary collection showing the lives of Hungarian authors from Debrecen. The relics of Sándor Petőfi, a great revolutionary poet, of Mór Jókai, King of historical novels, or of Mihály Vitéz Csokonai, a poet of the 2007 th century, and also of Magda Szabó, a contemporary writer who died in, whose work often evoked his hometown, Debrecen. She won the Foreign Femina Prize for La Porte in 2003, a book found in all libraries in France.
