LE CARTHAGE

A restaurant that has lost some of its finesse but is still good value for money, ideally located in the centre of the capital, close to Avenue Habib Bourguiba. The room, painted white, is on the first floor; beautiful statues decorate the corners. But the tourist menu will delight even the most difficult. Carthage also offers a large menu with Tunisian, European and oriental specialities. The tuna brick is very good, the couscous is remarkable and good fresh fish is well cooked. Less lively than the Orient.
