The great advantage of this hotel, completely renovated in 2014, is its location in the heart of the lively Avenue Habib Bourguiba. For the rest, comparison with its Cannes namesake would be hazardous. Cleanliness is a little average, the restaurant is closed until further notice, the welcome is decent but nothing more... The fact remains that the Hôtel Carlton offers accommodation in the heart of the city at reasonable prices and close to all the restaurants and stores on the street. Rooms overlooking Avenue Bourguiba are preferable, as they all have pretty balconies.

Les bons côtés maintenant : les chambres refaites sont très propres et bien décorées. L'hôtel est excellemment bien placé au coeur de l'avenue Bourguiba. Le petit déjeuner n'a rien d'exceptionnel mais est correct. Le tout est un peu cher pour la qualité générale, surtout hors saison. A noter que le parking privé n'est pas compté dans le prix de la chambre. Il faudra rajouter 7 dinars par jour. Par ailleurs lors de notre venue le wifi n'a jamais fonctionné.

But as everywhere in Tunisia, the maintenance of the facilities very quickly leave something to be desired. Otherwise, I recommend for this price you will not find a better in Tunis city centre (I tried some other). If you can speak to him, the staff is very pleasant and helpful.
