Nestled in a maze of alleyways in the heart of the medina, the superbly renovated former stables of Dar Lasram have become the Club Culturel Tahar Haddad. The club regularly hosts painting exhibitions and, still too rarely for the taste of the medina's inhabitants, film screenings, concerts and shows. The space is superb, with its low vaulted roof of yellow stone. This cultural center is well worth a visit. Ask about the program in advance.
